Manila is the capitol of the Philippines, located in the northern set of islands called Luzon
arrived in Manila on 5/14/04 to witness the burial of my father's mother on 5/19/04
stayed with my father's brother in Bacood, Santa Mesa, a subset of Manila
on 5/31/04, my last day, took pictures of the seat of government (equivalent of nation's capitol) near the presidential palace, the university belt (blocks of several schools), a cathedral (dedicated to first filipino saint), and an outing with cousins (on my father's side)
